The Lennox Hotel is seeking a reliable and motivated Cook to join its busy kitchen team. The Role As a Cook, you will play an important part in the daily operation of the kitchen, ensuring meals are prepared efficiently while maintaining consistent quality. Key Responsibilities Preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with the venue’s recipes and standards. Assisting with daily kitchen preparation and service to ensure smooth operations. Ensuring food is presented attractively and consistently. Monitoring cooking processes and adjusting as required during busy service periods. Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness. Receiving and storing deliveries of food supplies and ingredients. Assisting with stock control and helping minimise food wastage. Working collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff to deliver timely service. Following all workplace health and safety procedures in the kitchen. About You Experience working as a Cook in a commercial kitchen environment. A relevant qualification in commercial cookery or equivalent industry experience. Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
