The Gemini Hotel, a much-loved venue in Griffith, is looking for a skilled and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team. We take pride in delivering high-quality meals with a focus on fresh produce, consistency, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook and present a wide variety of dishes to a high standard. Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring food is prepared efficiently and safely. Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory to minimise waste. Maintain compliance with food safety standards and workplace health & safety regulations. Collaborate with the Head Chef/management team to design, cost, and update seasonal menus. Train, supervise, and support kitchen staff to maintain a positive and productive team culture. Ensure all dishes are delivered on time, maintaining portion control and presentation consistency. Contribute ideas for specials, menu improvements, and kitchen efficiency. About You Proven experience as a Chef in a busy hotel, restaurant, or similar environment. Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP requirements. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards. Good communication, leadership, and time-management skills. Passion for quality food and a commitment to excellent customer service.
