About The Role The Senior Program Officer, OSHC coordinates and controls the delivery of a range of specialised support in relation to out of school hours care (OSHC), providing direct support to site leaders and OSHC directors in OSHC services on government school sites. The role provides expert advice to schools and corporate business areas and liaises with other departmental staff and other agencies. The position supports the delivery of business improvement outcomes, aligned with the response to the Royal Commission into Early Childhood Education and Care, that streamlines and improves the provision of OSHC services in government school sites. Qualifications Essential: Nil. Desirable: Nil. Special conditions The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.
