Casual basis on 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation with flexibility for overlap work. Responsibilities Carry out planned maintenance in accordance with the requirements of the planned maintenance system. Trained and knowledgeable in the use of maintenance management systems (SAP PM and specifically notification and work order creation). Carrying out unplanned and non-routine maintenance as required. Fault finding and rectification for mechanical equipment. Trained and competent in the application of the Permit to work System and aware that all work is to be coordinated through the PTW system. Carrying out pre-commissioning checks and assisting in the final commissioning of mechanical equipment including static and rotating equipment Carry out mechanical isolations and work-site inspections, coordinating all work through the PTW system. Minimizing downtime and contributing to the achievement of production targets. Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized and analytical Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Qualifications and skills Mechanical Trade qualification to the equivalent of Cert III or higher Flange Management Level 2 Safe Working at Heights Current T/BOSIET MARLINS English Language Test (if applicable) Enter and Work in Confined Space Operate Breathing Apparatus Experience in operating and maintaining static and rotating equipment on Oil & Gas assets Minimum 5 years work experience in Oil & Gas, construction and/or maintenance industry Desirable Experience in rotating equipment fault finding and rectification Vessel and pipework pressure testing, including setting up recording equipment. Experience in vibration monitoring, analysis and balancing.
