The Role In this newly created role, you will provide steady day‑to‑day leadership to the finance function, ensuring sound processes, strong controls, and clear expectations. As the organisation continues to grow and evolve, your focus will be on enhancing reporting quality, improving cash‑flow practices, and supporting operational leaders with reliable financial insights. This is a role where your ability to build capability, lift standards, and create consistency will be central to the team's success. Key Responsibilities Lead, support, and develop a transactional finance team through regular coaching, clear frameworks, and structured performance management Oversee customer billing, receivables follow‑up, and credit management to maintain healthy cash flow Ensure the accurate and timely processing of finance activities including supplier payments, approvals, reconciliations, and compliance tasks Own end‑of‑month routines, including journals, accruals, reconciliations, reporting and preparation for audit requirements Deliver clear, accurate reporting and analysis that supports strategic and operational decision‑making Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and short‑term cash‑flow planning Strengthen internal controls and drive practical improvements across systems, processes, and reporting Maintain documentation and provide financial support for grant‑related or program‑related reporting requirements Partner with senior leaders across the organisation to align financial outcomes with broader business priorities About You You are a steady, people‑focused leader who takes pride in running a well‑organised finance function. To Be Successful, You Will Bring Leadership experience within a finance or transactional processing environment Strong working knowledge of accounts receivable, invoicing, cash‑flow processes, and reconciliations A proven ability to coach, develop, and engage a team A disciplined approach to process improvement and internal controls Confidence working with stakeholders at all levels and presenting information clearly High attention to detail, solid organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities Proficiency with finance systems; experience with MYOB Acumatica is advantageous Why This Role?
