The Opportunity This casual position for the winter season offers you the chance to work in the stunning snowy landscapes, ensuring accessible roads and carparks through the operation and maintenance of heavy plant and equipment for snow clearing. If you love the winter environment and enjoy hands-on work, are willing to work night hours and experienced in snow clearing operations, this opportunity is for you. Skilled operation of plant and machinery including daily logbooks and maintenance of machinery (refueling, greasing and cleaning) Support to the Assets and Operations team by undertaking snow clearing operations to car parks, loading and trafficable areas including around parked vehicles and pedestrians at variable times Provide guidance and review decisions made by less experienced team members. Resolve local operational issues related to resort services within established procedures Offer advice and analysis that contributes to decision-making. Qualifications and Experience: Medium Rigid Licence Current First Aid Certificate and CPR qualifications Work Safely in the Construction Industry CPCCOHS1001A (White Card) Front End Loader licence Minimum 2 years’ experience in plant operations in built up environments Managing working alone and various operational conditions Demonstrated experience working safely and adapting to changeable weather conditions. The successful candidate will be required to have: Full Australian working rights. Satisfactorily pass a police check and random drug & alcohol tests. Valid driver’s licence (Victorian preferred) Victorian Working with Children Check - Employee Work weekend during the ‘White Season’ Location: Mount Buller Alpine Resort, Victoria Salary : $30.51 per hour, plus casual loading superannuation (rate determined by skills, qualifications, and experience) Contract Term: Seasonal casual Start Date : June 2026 Need more details?
