Aligned Healthcare is partnering with IPC Health to recruit a Clinical Manager for the Melton Mental Health & Wellbeing Local. This is an opportunity to step into a senior leadership role within Victoria's mental health reform, leading a multidisciplinary team and contributing to the delivery of integrated, community-based care. About the service The Mental Health & Wellbeing Local in Melton is an adult community mental health service, providing support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, including those with complex needs and co-occurring AOD or psychosocial factors. The service operates under a "no wrong door" approach, providing accessible, short to medium-term support through assessment, care planning, therapeutic intervention and care coordination, with a focus on connecting people to the right supports at the right time. The Local delivers integrated mental health services within a person-centred model of care. The opportunity As Clinical Manager, you will oversee a multidisciplinary team of approximately 15 staff across mental health, AOD and wellbeing streams, providing clinical leadership, guidance and oversight to support the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care. You will work closely with the broader leadership team to ensure the service operates effectively, with a focus on clinical governance, team performance and consistency in practice. This role will suit someone who enjoys bringing structure, clarity and direction to teams, and is motivated by supporting both staff and service outcomes in a community-based setting. What you'll be doing Lead and support a multidisciplinary team across mental health, AOD and wellbeing services Provide clinical leadership, supervision and guidance to ensure safe, effective and high-quality care Drive and maintain clinical governance, risk management and quality frameworks Support staff with complex presentations, escalation and clinical decision-making Oversee delivery of assessment, care coordination and therapeutic supports Work closely with internal stakeholders to support service performance, consistency and outcomes Contribute to ongoing service improvement and development initiatives About you Registered clinician (Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing or similar) Demonstrated leadership experience within community mental health services Strong understanding of clinical governance, risk and quality frameworks Experience working with clients presenting with complex mental health, AOD and psychosocial needs Confident supporting staff with clinical decision-making and complex presentations Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships Why this role Step into a senior leadership role within a Mental Health & Wellbeing Local Play a key role in strengthening clinical governance and shaping service delivery Contribute to meaningful outcomes for individuals with complex mental health needs Salary aligned with SCHADS Level 8 Super NFP Salary Packaging Apply To apply, please submit your application via the "Apply" button.
