Service Technician @ Western Sydney International Airport Aviation / Ground Support Equipment The Opportunity Be part of the new Western Sydney International Airport (WSI) project Work on specialised Ground Support Equipment (GSE) supporting airport operations Join a growing team in a high-demand, long-term industry The Role Maintenance, repair and commissioning of specialised airport equipment Fault finding across electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Servicing, preventative maintenance and breakdown support Implementation of OEM service bulletins and equipment upgrades Commissioning and testing of new equipment Completing service reports and documentation Supporting critical equipment issues as required Roster & Hours March to September: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm From October onwards - 8-day rotating roster (5 on, 3 off) - Includes weekends, afternoon and night shift - Participation in an on-call rotation is required About You Trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Experience in service, maintenance or field technician roles Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics or control systems is advantageous Reliable, proactive and team-oriented Why Join Work at a newly developed international airport Structured roster with variety in shifts and work Long-term opportunity within the aviation sector Exposure to specialised equipment and systems Requirements Relevant trade qualification Current driver’s licence Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing Willingness to participate in on-call roster Ability to obtain airport access clearance Apply If you are looking for a long-term technical role within a growing industry and want to be part of a major infrastructure project, apply now.
