As a Welding Apprentice, you’ll be involved in the fabrication of custom truck bodies, trailers, and engineered components , built to exact client specifications. You’ll develop strong welding and fabrication skills while gaining real‑world experience in a well‑equipped workshop environment. If you enjoy hands‑on work, like learning how things are made, and want a long‑term trade career with genuine skill development, this apprenticeship could be the perfect fit. What you’ll learn and be involved in: Assisting with preventative maintenance and general workshop tasks Reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications Cutting, rolling, shaping, heating, and forming metal components Using hand tools, machine tools, welding equipment, and CNC machinery Welding, bolting, and riveting to assemble parts and structures Keeping the workshop clean, organised, and safe Applying finishing touches such as cleaning, polishing, filing, and protective or decorative finishes Location: Holden Hill Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday, 7.30am – 4.15pm, Fridays 7.30am – 2.15pm What’s in it for you?
