Where you'll be working Northern Beaches Assertive Outreach Team (NBAOT) What You'll Be Doing The position of Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EEN) within the NBAOT includes the monitoring and care coordination of consumers with severe and enduring mental illness. NBAOT is a community mental health service visiting consumers daily in their homes. NBAOT has a multidisciplinary, recovery orientated and holistic approach to the care of its consumers. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply. Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation: Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrate these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them. Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. Demonstrated ability of putting people who experience mental health issues first and at the centre of practice and service delivery. Demonstrated ability to support personal recovery and deliver recovery focused, evidence-based interventions. Demonstrated ability to uphold the human rights of people experiencing mental health issues and challenging stigma and discrimination; advocating to address the poor and unequal living circumstances that adversely impact on recovery. A high level of written and verbal communication skills promoting a culture and language of hope and optimism. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.
