This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong collections and credit assessment experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for monitoring accounts, managing arrears, assessing low-value credit applications, and maintaining strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers. What You’ll Do Assess and decision low-value new rental credit applications and limit increases within delegated authority levels Review existing rental accounts to ensure appropriate credit limits are maintained Manage arrears and collections activities across the commercial vehicle rental portfolio Monitor accounts and proactively identify and escalate potential credit risks Negotiate repayment arrangements with customers in line with company guidelines Issue arrears and default notices where required Investigate and resolve invoice queries, payment disputes and collection enquiries Prepare reporting and analysis on delinquent accounts and emerging trends Maintain accurate account records and perform account maintenance activities Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support effective credit risk management Contribute to team knowledge sharing, training initiatives and process improvements Support broader Group Credit responsibilities and assist with additional tasks as required What You Have Experience in commercial trade credit control, collections or credit assessment A strong understanding of credit lending criteria and credit risk management principles Experience working with a diverse range of customers including sole traders, SMEs and corporate organisations Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to manage difficult conversations professionally Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and problem-solving skills Ability to analyse financial information and make sound credit decisions Strong customer service focus with the ability to build and maintain relationships Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team environment Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, commerce, law or a related field (preferred) Excited to join a business where you can make an impact and develop your credit career within a supportive team?
