About the job SA Water is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of infrastructure projects that improve outcomes for our customers and communities. In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers and delivery teams to help plan, coordinate and deliver capital and operational projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity to build your project management capability within a complex infrastructure environment while contributing to essential water services across South Australia. About the Person You are an organised and proactive professional who can manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment. You bring strong communication skills, sound judgement, and a collaborative mindset. Additional responsibilities include: Support Project Managers in the planning and delivery of infrastructure projects across the project lifecycle Contribute to effective project scheduling, cost control, cash flow management and reporting Assist in ensuring projects are delivered safely, in compliance with WHS, environmental, water quality, procurement and legislative requirements Support contractor and consultant management, including safety and performance monitoring Contribute to quality assurance, ensuring delivered assets meet specifications, standards and are fit for purpose Use corporate project management systems to support consistent and compliant project delivery Build strong working relationships with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders Actively contribute to a culture of service excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement Your success in this role will come from: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders The ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work autonomously when required Well‑developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive working relationships Confidence working in environments with ambiguity and changing priorities Sound analytical and problem‑solving skills Exposure to infrastructure, utilities or construction projects Further information can be found in the attached PD - To apply, click 'Apply'.
