Job Description YOUR ROLE The People Experience (PX) team works collaboratively across MACS Head Office to support staff throughout the employment lifecycle, ensuring compliance with employment obligations and driving initiatives that enhance attraction, retention and overall people strategy. As a People Partner, you will provide expert guidance to managers on workforce planning, performance and talent management, and staff development, while partnering with teams to deliver strategic people objectives. This role also contributes to the design and implementation of best-practice PX projects and programs that strengthen management capability and employee engagement across the organisation. WHAT YOU WILL DO Partner with and coach managers across the full employment lifecycle, providing strategic and operational advice on workforce planning, talent and succession, performance management, conflict resolution and organisational design. Provide expert guidance on people policies, employee relations, health, safety and wellbeing matters to promote compliance, mitigate risk and deliver best practice outcomes aligned to organisational priorities. Support strategic workforce initiatives including skills and gap analysis, redeployment, capability development and succession planning in line with MACS policies and strategic objectives. Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects and change initiatives, using data and insights to inform the development, implementation and evaluation of PX programs, policies and services. Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across management and executive teams, representing PX in meetings and forums while driving continuous improvement of people services. ABOUT YOU Proven ability to partner with stakeholders to align people strategies with organisational objectives and deliver strategic outcomes. Extensive experience managing complex employee relations matters, including performance management, misconduct, investigations, grievances and conflict resolution. Strong capability to manage multiple competing priorities while applying sound judgement and contemporary HR practices to achieve strategic goals. Demonstrated expertise in interpreting legislation, regulations, awards, industrial agreements, policies and procedures to provide accurate and compliant advice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interpret HR metrics and workforce analytics, build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively within teams.
