Komatsu is seeking a skilled HV Electrician to join our high-performing Customer Support team. In this role, you’ll deliver expert maintenance and technical support on our industry-leading equipment while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction are at the forefront. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting Komatsu machinery, minimising downtime and delivering high-quality service to our customers across the Central Queensland region. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on Komatsu equipment. Analyse onboard systems and troubleshoot faults. Complete detailed service reports (complaint, cause, correction). Work closely with internal teams to plan and execute maintenance. Maintain strong safety standards and compliance. Role Located: Rockhampton orGladstone Travel: North Bundaberg to Clark Creek - visiting multiple mine sites and customer sites Roster: 7:7 day shift only (Wed to Tues) What we are looking for: Trade qualification as an Electrical Fitter / HV Electrician with current licence. Proven experience in HV electrical maintenance on Komatsu Products. Current Switch Licence. Current driver’s licence. Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings. Commitment to safety and working in high-risk environments. Ability to work autonomously. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Desirable Experience with Komatsu equipment or electric drive trucks . Exposure to mining or heavy industry environments. You will be required to obtain a coal board medical and S11 certification.
