THE OPPORTUNITY As a Hotel Services Assistant - Kitchen Hand, you will prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements and preferences across our four Residential Care Facilities and Assisted Living facility. Your preparation of healthy & nutritious meals will ensure our residents have an enjoyable eating experience, while catering to their nutritional and dietary needs. We currently have a Full Time opportunities available 3-5 days per week, with shifts 9:00am – 5:00pm within Monday- Friday. Responsibilities: Operate commercial dishwashers and maintain clean workspaces Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene Preparing and cooking meals adhering to IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardization Initiative) guidelines for food preparation, including modified texture foods Preparing catering orders as needed for onsite events, including bulk sandwich production Assisting in meal delivery driving to ensure timely and efficient service around campus Supporting Chefs with kitchen operations, including food prep and cleaning duties Manual handling: moving & positioning equipment; stock handling & unloading.
