Job Summary The Food and Beverage Supervisor at Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park will play a vital role in supporting the Food & Beverage Manager and Food and Beverage Assistant Manager in the overall management, coordination, and enhancement of the hotel's food and beverage operations. This role involves, team leadership, and ensuring the delivery of outstanding guest experiences through excellent service standards. Key Responsibilities Assist in the day-to-day management of all food and beverage outlets including the renowned Archie's Farm Restaurant & Bar, room service, and functions. Help oversee and lead a diverse team of food and beverage staff, including mentoring and training. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, maintaining high standards in food preparation, storage, and service areas. Monitor inventory levels, control costs etc Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations and seamless guest service. Address and resolve guest feedback and complaints promptly to maintain high guest satisfaction scores. Qualifications & Experience Relevant diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field, highly regarded. Minimum 2 years of experience in food and beverage preferably within a hotel or upscale hospitality setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team in a fast-paced environment. 1-2 years of team leadership experience is required. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays as required. Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.
