Hydraulic Pumps Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Hydraulic Pump Technician to join our team in Kings Park, NSW. This is a full-time position, where you will be responsible for the repair of hydraulic components across all brands. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable operation of our clients' equipment. What you'll be doing Diagnose and repair hydraulic component failures and malfunctions Rebuild and overhaul hydraulic components according to manufacturer specifications Reassemble and pressure test hydraulic units to specification Prepare and pack repaired units for transportation Provide technical support and advice to customers Source and specify parts for repairs Maintain accurate records of repair and maintenance activities What we're looking for Minimum 2 years of experience as a Hydraulic Pump Technician or in a similar role Thorough understanding of hydraulic principles, components, and systems Proficient in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of hydraulic components Experience working with multiple hydraulic components is required for this role Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers and team members Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work and work safety Basic Computer Literacy Plant mechanic or trade qualification (preferred but not essential) Offshore applicants must have a valid and current skills assessment accredited qualification (Vetassess) What we offer At Hydraulic Pumps Australia, we value our employees and strive to provide a rewarding and supportive work environment.
