The role will focus on implementing and improving security controls across identity, infrastructure, and network layers, while supporting several ongoing security uplift initiatives. About the Organisation & Position: You will join a collaborative cyber security team responsible for strengthening the organisation’s security posture. The role will support several key initiatives including identity and access management improvements and Essential Eight uplift. Key Responsibilities: Implement and support identity and access management platforms including OKTA and Active Directory Contribute to security uplift initiatives, including Essential Eight maturity improvements Engineer and implement security controls across hybrid infrastructure (Azure and on-prem) Work closely with the cyber security team on technical security implementations Required Skills & Experience: Strong engineering background with experience in cyber security or infrastructure security Experience with OKTA, Active Directory, or Microsoft Entra ID Exposure to Azure or cloud environments Experience with next-generation firewalls (Palo Alto, Juniper, Check Point or similar) Comfortable working in a hands-on engineering role implementing security solutions This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative security team delivering meaningful security uplift initiatives, with the chance to work hands-on across identity, infrastructure and cloud while helping shape the organisation’s evolving cyber security capability.
