Job Description We're seeking an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead our Norwest clinic. In this role, your primary focus will be the clinical leadership of our nursing and Day Surgery team — delivering exceptional patient care, driving professional development, and maintaining the highest clinical standards. Alongside this, you'll take on broader clinic management responsibilities, contributing to operational performance and growth. This is a pivotal leadership position where your clinical expertise and people leadership will directly shape the team culture, patient experience, and clinic outcomes. Key Responsibilities Nursing Leadership (Primary Focus) Lead, mentor, and support the nursing team, fostering clinical excellence and a culture of continuous professional development Provide hands-on clinical care and expert guidance in complex or escalated situations Ensure the delivery of safe, compassionate, and personalised patient care at every touchpoint Oversee the Day Surgery unit, including compliance, accreditation, and day-to-day clinical operations Clinic Operations Support the smooth running of clinic operations, including staffing coordination, workflow management, and resource allocation Monitor key clinical and operational metrics, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and patient outcomes Contribute to strategies that support clinic performance and growth Doctor & Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with Fertility Specialists, visiting doctors, and internal teams Facilitate collaboration across nursing, lab, and administration to ensure seamless clinic operations Patient Experience & Quality Champion exceptional patient experiences, ensuring care is personalised, efficient, and compassionate Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards The main changes: the title is streamlined to NUM, the intro leads with clinical leadership, Qualifications We're looking for an experienced Nurse Unit Manager, with fertility industry experience who is ready to step into a broader clinic leadership role and make a real impact. About You You're an AHPRA-registered Nurse with a proven track record in leadership within fertility, women's health, or a related clinical setting. You bring a strong ability to manage both people and operations — balancing the day-to-day running of a busy clinic while fostering a motivated, high-performing team. You naturally build trusted relationships with medical staff and are driven by a genuine commitment to operational excellence, outstanding patient experiences, and sustainable clinic growth.
