Senior Accounts Payable, Growing Construction Business based in Sydney CBD, up to 95K plus super, Flexibility Your new company A growing and reputable residential construction business, with offices across NSW and QLD, is seeking a reliable and detailfocused Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team. Youll be joining a supportive, collaborative team, whilst having close interaction with C-suite. Key responsibilities include: Processing a high volume of AP invoices across both construction and development business units. Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery dockets, ensuring correct coding, GST accuracy, and compliance. Coordinating invoice and payment approval workflows and maintaining organised digital documentation. Managing the AP inbox and ensuring incoming invoices are processed in a timely manner. Preparing weekly and monthly payment runs with accuracy and efficiency. Completing supplier statement reconciliations and investigating discrepancies. Handling bank and credit card reconciliations. Supporting monthend reporting, including AP accruals and outstanding invoice followups. Responding to supplier queries professionally and maintaining effective relationships. Processing invoices within Xero and JobPac. Assisting in maintaining accurate data across job codes, projects, and cost centres. What you'll need to succeed Previous AP experience within the Construction or Property Development sector is essential. Familiarity with JobPac or CHEOPS is required; knowledge of Xero is required. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage highvolume processing with accuracy. Excellent communication skills, with the capability to build rapport across internal and external stakeholders. A proactive, adaptable work style with the ability to operate both autonomously and within a team environment.
