About the role Holcim is currently looking for a qualified Electrician to fill the statutory role of Electrical trades person for our plant located at Albion Park Quarry, NSW, w.This role involves a mix of technical electrical work, preventative maintenance, and site-wide support. Here is your opportunity to step into a role where you can grow and develop with the world leading sustainable building materials company. As well as installation, and maintenance the role includes breakdown support for the crushing plant and can be fast-paced and will require you to be a strong problem solver, process-driven, with a high level of attention to detail. You would normally start work around 2:00 pm and there would be a requirement to work some Saturdays as needed. Duties and responsibilities: Promoting and enforcing safety and environmental processes and protocols to meet performance outcomes. Supervise the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electrical plant and installations at the quarry. Managing, supervising and assisting contractors and the production team with Site-wide maintenance tasks. Ensuring all electrical work meets safety standards and regulatory requirements. Basic administration and logging of maintenance tasks on a variety of computer software applications (training provided). Responding to breakdowns and electrical incidents. Requirements: Essential: You must hold a current Electrical Supervisor Certificate authorising you to perform electrical work in NSW Essential: You must have a valid driver's licence Essential: You must have experience in and a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems as well as industrial installation and work practices.
