About the opportunity Are you a skilled and motivated individual with a passion for ensuring safe and efficient operations in the concrete industry? We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor or Batcher in charge to operate as part of our Mobile Project team in North QLD. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing the production process and maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service supplying projects we have been awarded in the region. Production Supervisor Here is your opportunity to step into an exciting 12 month fixed term project role where you can grow & develop, with the world's leading sustainable building materials company. Training provided on equipment, systems and procedures. A close-knit team on site backed by an inclusive culture company wide. North QLD Location, operating at our Kidston or Paluma site. Responsibilities Concrete batching & front-end loader operations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Management System. Manage the water and waste management system, adhering to environmental requirements. Oversee concrete production, meeting customer specifications and deadlines. Optimize truck and personnel scheduling to ensure efficient operations. Maintain stock levels by ordering raw materials and conducting regular inventory checks. Coordinate equipment maintenance and engage contractors when needed. Provide leadership and support to the production team. Handle administrative tasks and contribute to operational improvements. About you A positive attitude to get the job done Previous experience in a production or supervisory role is preferred but not required Previous batching experience is an advantage to any applicant, Bring with you a safety culture and a general understanding of Workplace Health and Safety regulations, Organisation and time management skills, The ability to lead and motivate a team, Front-end loader certification and LF forklift license (preferred), and Strong communication and people skills. Hours of Work The opportunity allows for a 7 days on; 7 days off and/or a 14 days on; 7 days off roster over the 12-month contract. More detail will be provided on request. Why Holcim?
