About the opportunity We are seeking an experienced and motivated Support at Home Manager to lead and support a team delivering community-based aged care services. Reporting to the Executive Manager Community Connections, this leadership role provides oversight, coaching and guidance to a team of approximately 30 employees. The role plays a key part in strengthening service quality, supporting staff capability and ensuring a positive and consistent client experience. You will oversee the performance and development of Care Partners and frontline staff, ensure effective operational management of services, and support the ongoing growth and sustainability of the Support at Home program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide strong leadership, mentoring and support to a team of approximately 30 employees Foster a positive, collaborative team culture focused on service excellence Oversee day-to-day service delivery to ensure high quality, consistent client support Support staff development through coaching, supervision and performance conversations Ensure effective caseload management and operational planning Manage service risks, incidents and client feedback in a timely and professional manner Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Support continuous improvement initiatives and organisational growth Ensure services are delivered in line with legislation, regulatory requirements and organisational policies. About You: You are a confident and capable leader who enjoys developing people and driving service quality. You bring strong operational knowledge of community aged care services and are passionate about improving outcomes for older people. You will also have: Demonstrated experience in an aged care leadership or coordinator role (5 years preferred) Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (or working towards) Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, standards and compliance requirements Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills A commitment to client-centred service delivery and continuous improvement Certificate IV in Community Services (Desirable) You must also be willing to obtain a National Police Certificate before commencing employment as well as a functional assessment.
