Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and client expectations. This role plays a critical part in supporting project delivery by overseeing contract preparation, negotiation, execution, and administration.The Contract Administrator will work closely with project managers, legal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure all contractual obligations are met. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities Prepare, interpret, and review contracts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organisational policies. Negotiate contract terms and variations with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders on behalf of the organisation. Maintain and administer contracts throughout their lifecycle, including monitoring obligations, deliverables, and deadlines. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements in all contractual matters. Monitor contract performance and identify risks, issues, or breaches, recommending corrective actions where necessary. Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to support project delivery and resolve contractual disputes. Prepare documentation and reports related to contract status, variations, and performance outcomes. Support organisational programs and projects by providing contract administration expertise and guidance. Facilitate communication between internal teams and external parties to ensure contractual obligations are clearly understood and met. Contribute to continuous improvement in contract management processes and systems. Requirements Completion of a Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, Contract Administration, or Procurement (or equivalent qualification). Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Law, or a related discipline is highly regarded but not mandatory. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in contract administration, procurement, or project support roles. Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and compliance requirements within the Australian context. Proven ability to prepare, interpret, and manage contracts across diverse projects.
