The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Director of Procurement to lead Procurement across our Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Hub. Reporting to the Senior Director, Procurement, ANZ Hub, this senior leadership role is accountable for driving regional procurement strategies and programs, translating global category strategies into local value, and delivering end-to-end (E2E) Procurement excellence across non-global categories. You will lead a high-performing team of Procurement Managers and Specialists and partner closely with senior business stakeholders, regional teams and global category managers. This role plays a pivotal part in optimising supplier relationships, strengthening governance and compliance, and delivering measurable commercial and ESG outcomes. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Lead, coach and develop a high-performing regional team of Procurement managers and specialists Translate and adapt global category strategies and E2E sourcing approaches for non-global categories Act as the primary Procurement partner to regional functional leaders across IT, Telecom, Real Estate & Facilities, People, Professional Services, Vehicle Fleet and Marketing & Communications Oversee the full procurement lifecycle, from requirements definition and sourcing strategy through to negotiation, contracting, onboarding and supplier performance management Track and report regional Procurement KPIs, including spend under management, cost savings and avoidance, contract compliance, sourcing cycle time and ESG outcomes (including supplier diversity) Ensure strong governance, risk management and compliance with Procurement policies, ESG standards and ethical sourcing requirements Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, standardise best practice and enhance digital tool adoption and stakeholder experience Lead and support digital transformation initiatives, including ERP and procurement system rollouts, in close collaboration with P2P teams About You You're a strategic, commercially astute Procurement leader with the credibility to influence at executive level. You'll also bring: Relevant qualifications such as MCIPS and/or a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, Engineering or a related discipline 4-12 years' progressive experience in Procurement and Procurement leadership, including leading teams across multiple indirect categories Proven experience shaping category strategies, leading complex negotiations and delivering measurable business value Hands-on experience leading digital transformation and rolling out procurement tools and systems Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders in complex, service-driven environments Deep knowledge of governance, ESG, supplier diversity, ethical procurement and risk management A collaborative, values-led leadership style with a track record in coaching, change leadership and continuous improvement Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.
