10th March, 2026 We are currently seeking an experienced Laboratory Assistant to join our client's team based in Kewdale. This is a Monday to Friday position with consistent daytime hours, offering an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role with a reputable international company that specialise in a variety of indoor and outdoor line markings for airports, roads, playgrounds, sporting complexes and construction sites to name a few The Role: This role will see you supporting laboratory testing and quality control processes for specialised materials used in road marking and infrastructure applications. Working within a laboratory environment alongside 1-2 others, your responsibilities will include: Conducting laboratory testing in accordance with Australian Standards Performing quality control testing on paint, thermoplastic and related materials Preparing and analysing samples and compiling test results Preparing chemical solutions following standard formulas Maintaining accurate testing documentation and reports Assisting with sampling and analysis programs to ensure product quality Maintaining, cleaning and assisting with the calibration of laboratory equipment Skills & Experience: Previous laboratory or quality control experience (essential) Ability to follow written procedures and testing methods Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organisational and time management skills Ability to work independently and meet targets Basic Microsoft Office skills Experience or knowledge of paint, coatings or materials testing is advantageous but not essential Full Australian working rights (Sorry no holiday VISA'S) What's on Offer Competitive pay rate $36.25 - $38.75 per hour Stable Monday-Friday hours (8am-4pm) Kewdale location with onsite parking Opportunity to transition from temporary to permanent employment Work with an established and respected organisation If you are looking for a stable role with consistent hours and long-term potential, we encourage you to apply.
