Permanent role Australian Citizenship required – must hold current NV1 clearance Must be available to work onsite in Laverton full time Monday – Friday due to secure nature of work This role is ideal for someone with hands on Kubernetes experience who is eager to deepen their technical capability, learn from senior engineers, and contribute to critical national digital transformation programs. Key Responsibilities Deploy and configure Kubernetes clusters across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments (EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift) Support Docker-based containerisation for secure, efficient, and scalable application delivery Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD, or similar tools Contribute to IaC automation with Terraform, Ansible, and related technologies Monitor and optimise cluster performance using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or cloud-native tools; create dashboards and alerts Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate complex incidents as needed Support DevSecOps practices including RBAC, security hardening, and compliance checks Collaborate with development and operations teams to deliver platform support Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives Stay current with Kubernetes and cloud native advancements Required Skills & Experience Australian Citizenship required – must hold current NV1 clearance Must be available to work onsite in Laverton full time Monday – Friday due to secure nature of work 2–5 years’ experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or software engineering 1–2 years’ experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or containerisation Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP Experience with Linux, Bash/Python scripting, and Git Certifications such as CKAD or cloud-provider equivalents are highly regarded
