POSITION PURPOSE: This role supports members in achieving their fitness goals by fostering meaningful connections within a motivating training environment. The position will primarily operate on the gym floor as a Gym Floor Instructor and Personal Trainer, providing both general member support and personalised one-on-one training. You will help lead a fun, energetic and inclusive gym floor, providing personalised guidance and support to members as they work towards their individual health and fitness goals. As a professional fitness instructor, you will take pride in delivering exceptional service while maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming gym environment. You will demonstrate professionalism at all times and remain committed to ongoing learning and development within the fitness industry. In this role, you will share your knowledge and expertise in line with your qualifications and training to ensure members receive safe, effective and high-quality support. You will actively contribute to bringing the Aligned Leisure purpose of Connecting to Thrive and Win to life, while embodying the organisation’s values of Aware, Disciplined, Relentless and United through your actions, behaviours and collaboration with the wider team. Essential Qualifications and Experience: Certificate III in Fitness (Cert IV Desirable) Training in Pilates or Yoga programs (if relevant, however not required) Current First Aid and CPR Certificate. Working with Children Check. Previous experience in customer service. Personal Attributes: Focused on the customer. Understands/enjoys the leisure industry and motivated to serve Aligned Leisure. The ability to provide coaching and mentoring to members. Relentless in their approach to delivering exceptional service. Engaging and outgoing.
