About The Role Shoreline is a state-of-the-art Residential Aged Facility situated in a truly unique location, adjacent to the beach and overlooking picturesque Cockburn Sound. The Facility provides resort lifestyle, and quality care and services for up to 238 residents. We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager with proven leadership capability and experience in the same or similar role. This position is responsible for efficient and effective management of the provision of all matters pertaining to Clinical leadership and expertise to deliver safe, effective and high-quality care and lifestyle that supports holistic and person-centred care to all residents to ensure they enjoy a quality lifestyle in accordance with Aged Care Standards and Aegis policies and procedures. The Manager Clinical Services leads a highly effective and efficient team that ensures the facility meets all clinical and customer service obligations. The Manager Clinical Services is required to model and actively support Aegis, Vision, Mission and Values. This position is responsible for ensuring that the wholistic needs of residents are met, and ensuring the daily support services tailored to the individual resident needs, goals, choices, and preferences are always delivered. In accordance with Aegis’ philosophy, the role also focuses on supporting residents to engage in activities that are meaningful and purposeful to them, optimising their independence, health, wellbeing, and quality of life. As an integral part of the leadership team, you will: Provide clinical leadership across the facility together with management of all clinical functions to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality care Coordinate ANACC functions, documentation, and assessment processes. Ensure all care documentation is completed with appropriate strategies implemented. Support residents and their families by addressing queries, comments, suggestions, or concerns. Manage, support, coach, monitor and mentor the clinical care team in the provision of quality care. Requirements of the role Registered Nurse Div. 1 with current AHPRA registration. Experience working as a clinician in Aged Care. Leadership experience in aged care with the ability to influence others to deliver high quality care and customer service. High level of clinical knowledge. Detailed knowledge and experience with AN-ACC assessments and documentation. Sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and quality management systems.
