We are seeking a passionate and capable Food Technology Teacher who can confidently teach Stage 6 Food Technology. Responsibilities Deliver engaging and rigorous Food Technology programs across Years 7-12. Teach Year 11 and 12 Food Technology with strong HSC knowledge and exam preparation expertise. Design and implement high-quality, differentiated programs aligned with NESA requirements. Foster practical skill development in a modern, well-equipped industrial kitchen. Integrate technology effectively, including LMS platforms and digital resources. Contribute to collaborative planning, assessment and faculty initiatives within the STEM department. Optional opportunities may include contributing to junior Design & Technology programs. About the Candidate The ideal candidate is an experienced Secondary Food Technology teacher with strong curriculum knowledge and a passion for practical learning. You are confident teaching senior classes and thrive in a collaborative, well-resourced environment. The suitable candidate will possess: Proven experience teaching Stage 6 Food Technology. Strong knowledge of NESA syllabus requirements and assessment standards. Confidence delivering practical lessons in a modern kitchen environment. Relevant teaching qualifications, current NESA accreditation and valid WWCC. A commitment to upholding the values and ethos of an independent Christian school. Excellent communication skills and the ability to contribute positively to a supportive faculty culture.
