About the Role Lead and inspire a team of Area Managers to achieve and exceed sales and volume targets Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand our customer base and maximise growth Provide hands-on training, coaching, and mentorship to your team, ensuring high levels of customer service and business efficiency Regularly review team performance, offer feedback, and facilitate ongoing development opportunities Plan and execute field trips and customer visits to build strong relationships and drive sales Oversee the management of budgets, stock levels, and inventory to support your team's objectives Collaborate with State Business Manager and internal teams to deliver top-tier service and ensure De Bortoli's success in the market Key Responsibilities Drive and deliver on sales volume, inventory management, and account distribution targets Plan and manage sales team performance, ensuring regular customer engagement and service levels Maintain and report on key sales metrics, including new account setups and customer feedback Secure prominent placements for our products, including "Wine of the Month" promotions, wine lists and special events. Organise winemaker dinners, wine tastings, and other special exhibition opportunities to enhance brand visibility and customer loyalty About You A seasoned sales professional with a deep understanding of the On & Off Premise Industry A natural leader, experienced in training, motivating and guiding teams to success A strategic thinker with exceptional communication, problem-solving and organisational skills Someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and is highly self-motivated Able to travel regularly and manage a variety of responsibilities effectively Strong product and market knowledge within the wine industry is desirable Why De Bortoli Wines?
