You will gain invaluable experience in event management, team leadership, and operational excellence whilst working with internal stakeholders, external partners, and senior leadership. This role offers you the chance to shape vibrant, commercially viable events that strengthen the University's cultural strategy and community engagement. Your responsibilities will include: Lead End-to-End Event Delivery: Plan and coordinate complex commercial, stakeholder, and strategic events including conferences, exhibition launches, and special events, ensuring alignment with departmental objectives and compliance requirements. Provide Team Leadership and Supervision: Oversee and recruitment of event supervisors and casual staff, delivering onboarding, training, and performance feedback to foster a positive and high-performing team culture. Manage Event Operations and Budgets: Develop event plans, timelines, run sheets, and budgets, track expenditure, and reconcile post-event financials whilst identifying opportunities for efficiency and commercial improvement. Build Stakeholder Relationships and Coordinate Logistics: Collaborate with internal teams, venue caterers, commercial clients, and suppliers to ensure consistent event delivery and maintain strong working relationships across the organisation.
