Role Description This is a part time, on-site role for a Veterinary Nurse at SAI Veterinary Hospital in Willetton, WA. The Veterinary Nurse will assist in providing outstanding care to animals, including general nursing care, support during surgeries, and monitoring anesthesia. Daily responsibilities include assisting with emergency and routine procedures, performing diagnostics, managing patient records, and providing guidance and education to pet owners, triaging and reception duties including phone calls. Collaboration with veterinarians and other staff is essential to ensure the health and safety of our patients. Qualifications Proficiency in Veterinary Nursing and Animal Care, with experience in providing compassionate care to animals of all sizesIn-depth knowledge of Anesthesiology and the ability to monitor and manage patients during proceduresSkilled in Laboratory Techniques and diagnosticsExperience in Pet Care, including handling, feeding, and maintaining hygiene for different speciesStrong reception and organizational, communication, and teamwork abilitiesRelevant qualifications in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent certificationPrevious experience in an emergency or referral clinic is advantageousA passion for animals and a strong commitment to their welfare
