Your opportunity to join our team The Wingfield rendering facility is a manufacturing service that processes raw material from our primary processing plant and transforms it into protein meal and oil. These products are critical components in the manufacture of petfood, poultry feed and aqua feed. As Site Manager of Inghams only rendering facility, you sit at the intersection of sustainability, resource recovery, and essential industry — it's a role with real purpose and impact. Working Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm. Daily Tasks: Site Management responsibilities, including people leadership Oversee operation of Rendering Equipment (hammermill, boiler, cookers, press, etc.) Maintain strong customer relationships ensuring delivery of high quality products to customers and feedmills. Maintain strong contractor relationships. Ensure the recording of accurate information in the day-to-day performance of the rendering facility Responsible for reporting accurate stock inventories of ingredients and related consumable items Make sound judgments regarding product quality, consult with technical resources as needed Participate in problem-solving teams as required Understand, and follow work instructions Ensure accurate information is communicated in shift handovers and other communication logs Assist with continuous improvement projects, as assigned or available You will bring to this role Previous management experience in a similar protein based industry.
