Join our R&D team as an Associate Scientist, where you will drive analytical measurement capability supporting food innovation across ANZ and QA Sciences within the supply chain. You will lead core and complex testing, develop and validate analytical methods and instrumentation, and provide data-driven insights that support product innovation, operational performance, and quality compliance across multiple markets. Responsibilities Lead analytical Measurement Sciences support for ANZ innovation projects, interpreting data and providing technical recommendations to R&D teams. Develop, validate, and implement analytical methods across ANZ and Supply Chain sites to support innovation and quality compliance. Build analytical capability across ANZ Supply Chain by delivering training and coaching QC teams. Support development and rollout of new analytical equipment aligned with the pep agenda. Provide expert troubleshooting and technical support for analytical methods and instrumentation. Lead the LabVantage digitalisation agenda in ANZ to improve R&D Measurement Sciences capability and efficiency. Qualifications 5 years’ experience in analytical techniques and laboratory instrumentation within a relevant industry. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Food Science or a related discipline. Strong expertise in complex analytical instrumentation, including GC-MS and GC-FID. Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage uncertainty and complexity. Experience delivering technical training in both virtual and in-person settings. Strong organisation, planning, time management, and scientific thinking skills. Collaborative team player with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across R&D and Supply Chain. Strong IT and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and cultures. Why join us?
