In this role, you will drive our safety culture by providing expert advice, building strong stakeholder relationships, and managing risks. A key part of this position involves participating in critical emergency response operations, placing you at the heart of state safety initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert, practical WHS advice to ensure legislative compliance. Partner with workgroups to identify and mitigate safety risks. Manage the end-to-end incident reporting and investigation process. Contribute directly to WHS committees and continuous improvement projects. Participate in the department's emergency response team. About You Essential: 3 years in a dedicated WHS role with deep knowledge of WHS legislation. Essential: Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Desirable: A tertiary qualification in WHS, experience with psychosocial hazard management, and skills in root cause analysis or internal auditing.
