Role Overview An opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of utility-scale battery energy storage (BESS) projects within a growing renewable energy platform expanding in Australia. This role will focus on overseeing project development and execution activities, coordinating with development partners, consultants, and internal teams to ensure projects progress through key milestones from development toward construction. The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring project delivery, managing stakeholders, and ensuring technical and commercial alignment across project partners. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Oversight Oversee the development and execution of utility-scale BESS projects Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with agreed project schedules and development milestones Coordinate with project developers, EPC contractors, and consultants to ensure effective project delivery Development Coordination Support project activities including site development, planning approvals, grid connection processes, and project design coordination Track project timelines, risks, and key deliverables across multiple projects Assist with preparing internal project updates and development reports Stakeholder & Consultant Management Coordinate with external consultants, engineers, and advisors involved in project development Work closely with internal commercial, finance, and technical teams Support engagement with project partners, network operators, and other stakeholders Technical & Commercial Interface Support technical review processes for engineering design and project documentation Contribute to development risk assessments, project schedules, and investment readiness Assist with the transition of projects from development into construction and delivery Key Requirements 5 years of experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or energy project delivery Experience delivering or managing utility-scale renewable energy projects Exposure to energy storage, solar, wind, or grid infrastructure projects Skills & Expertise Strong understanding of project development and delivery lifecycle Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams and consultants Ability to manage project schedules, risks, and stakeholder communication Understanding of the Australian energy market and project approval processes Candidates may come from: Renewable energy developers Energy storage companies EPC contractors Engineering consultancies Infrastructure project delivery teams Consultant joy@bluefinresources.com.au Reference number: BH-61807 Profession:Projects & TransformationProject / Program Delivery Company: BlueFin Date posted: 12th Mar, 2026
