We are currently seeking an effective Supply Chain Specialist to work at our Head Office in a state-of-the-art building in Sydney Olympic Park. You will work with our Manager Supply Chain & Distribution to support our operations across Australia. The Benefits Competitive salary WFH up to 2 days/week post probation Career development within the global Bridgestone business 5 days extra annual leave every year after 2 years of employment An extra 5 days leave as a one off at each 5 year employment milestone Health checks / free flu shots / free on-site gym Product discounts on Bridgestone Tyres Additional benefits & staff discounts The Opportunity Permanent full-time role Coordinate processes within supply chain area Work closely with suppliers Work closely with our branches Work closely with shipping companies and customs agents Present regular updates on performance & issues Efficiently & accurately manage shipping documentation Develop, improve & maintain systems to support tracking of deliveries & supplier performance Provide business with up-to-date information (inventory, overdue deliveries, slow-moving inventory, etc) Solve supply chain issues with a proactive attitude About You - Essential Knowledge of shipping regulations & import/export procedures (e.g. Incoterms) Experience with customs agents & freight forwarders Demonstrated understanding & experience with ERP systems (SAP) Strong MS Office skills with high level Excel ability & knowledge Ability to develop cross-functional relationships in a dynamic environment Excellent communication and business presentation skills Demonstrated commercial acumen with a focus on continuous improvement & driving innovation Strong attention to detail & problem-solving ability Current work rights in Australia About You – Preferred Relevant qualifications in such as Supply Chain, Business Administration or Engineering Experience in SAP Join a global leader & access product discounts, career progression & training opportunities!
