Conditions: You’ll work as part of a supportive team of nurses and Aboriginal Health Practitioners, providing culturally appropriate primary healthcare in a community-focused setting. Hours are 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday only. You are not required to be on call afterhours or over the weekend. Mapoon sits on Port Musgrave and the Gulf of Carpentaria coast, surrounded by sandy beaches, wetlands, mangroves and estuaries. The coastal landscapes, waterways and wetlands offer peaceful scenery and opportunities for boating, beach walks and wildlife watching. Proficiency in using Best Practice is essential.
