As our Intake Officer, you’ll be joining our friendly and supportive Mylestones team in Redcliffe. You will manage and coordinate the intakes of all clients, throughout Bribie Island, Redcliffe and North Brisbane area, matching Mylestones Staff to achieve appropriate outcomes for individual clients in Open Employment. This is a dynamic and busy role where you will be networking and building partnerships with schools and disability providers, in order to bring in participants and assist them with employment opportunities. Responsibilities include: Liaise with employment services staff as directed by the ESA Manager to achieve appropriate outcomes for a caseload of individual clients in Open Employment. Manage and coordinate the intakes of all clients, and matching Mylestones Staff to achieve appropriate outcomes for individual clients in Open Employment. Achieve documented key performance indicators and provide regular feedback and information in relation to the achievement of intake targets to the ESA Manager and other staff members as required. Conduct Intake and Assessment of client needs and client suitability for services and meeting eligibility requirements for CPL and funding body. Ensure the development of an initial Job Plan, including addressing any barriers to employment to ensure positive outcomes are achieved by clients. Maintain knowledge of current Inclusive Employment Australia guidelines and procedures. Ensure compliance with all funding body record keeping, software, and reporting requirements. Build positive networks and relationships with disability employment related organisations to support the business objectives of Mylestones Employment. Liaise with schools, community organisations and other growth leads to ensure that intakes are within eligibility requirements and build relationships to ensure appropriate number of referrals. Arrange, and undertake handover meetings and documentation with Client Coordinator, in consultation with ESA Manager. Selection Criteria includes: Demonstrated experience in a similar role working with people with disabilities. Ability to negotiate with key stakeholders and provide positive solutions to complex problems. Demonstrated experience in sales and marketing, and experience and/or ability in the Disability Employment Service industry or similar field. Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including collaborating with work colleagues to achieve KPIs A valid C class driving license.
