Be the commercial brain behind events people actually talk about. You want to be in the action. Not just watching it from a spreadsheet. You enjoy asking “does this make money?” just as much as “how could we make it better?”. You’re someone who can sit with event managers, venue leaders and creatives, translate numbers into real conversations, and help big ideas actually work commercially. Winarch Group has been busy. Winarch Live and Winarch Experience are evolving. The growth is real. And fast. You’ll be based in a stunning office in Botany. With free parking. And if you’re a muso, you’ll appreciate the wall art. The team is young, ambitious and genuinely passionate about what they do. You’ll partner closely with business unit leaders, operational leaders and Group Finance. They’re busy people who trust good operators, which means no micromanagement and plenty of opportunity to influence how things are done. The opportunity? They need someone who can bridge finance and operations. Someone who helps leaders understand performance, spot opportunities early and make smarter commercial decisions. That’s where you come in. What you’ll be doing • Acting as the key finance partner to the Winarch Live and Winarch Experience leadership team. • Supporting pricing decisions, investment cases and new opportunities with clear commercial insight. • Building event and show level P&Ls, from pre event modelling through to post event wash ups. • Owning weekly and event performance reporting across venues, markets and activations. • Analysing revenue drivers, margins and trends, then turning them into practical recommendations. • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long range planning cycles. • Helping operational teams manage costs, suppliers and procurement decisions. • Improving reporting tools, dashboards and data visibility as the business scales. • Travelling to Morisset fortnightly to be with the whole Finance team. You’ll suit this role if: • You’ve worked in commercial finance, FP&A or business partnering roles. • Experience in events, hospitality, retail or another fast paced industry will make you dangerous (in a good way). • You’re strong in Excel, modelling and turning data into meaningful insight. • You’re confident communicating with non finance people and know how to challenge constructively. • You’re curious, commercially minded and enjoy solving problems before they become problems. • You can zoom into detail when needed, but never lose sight of the bigger picture. • You’re calm under pressure and comfortable when priorities shift quickly. You could stay where you are. Or you could do something way more interesting. This is your chance to get in early and grow with a business that’s scaling fast.
