About the role Slater and Gordon are seeking an experienced People Data and Systems Lead to take ownership of our HR systems, data, and analytics capability. This is a senior individual contributor role that sits at the intersection of people, technology, and insight, with real influence across the business. Reporting to the Manager People Services and partnering closely with HR, IT, Finance, and senior leaders, you will be responsible for ensuring our HR systems are robust, user friendly, secure, and continuously improving. You will also lead the development of meaningful people insights that enable smarter workforce decisions and enhance the employee experience. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys ownership, thrives on problem solving, and is motivated by delivering practical, high impact solutions. What you'll do Own and manage Slater and Gordon’s HRIS architecture, including system administration, configuration, integrations, and data governance Lead continuous improvement of HR systems, processes, and user experience, bringing forward practical recommendations Manage cyclical and project-based HR system activities, including planning, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and post implementation reviews Build, maintain, and enhance HR analytics and reporting solutions, including dashboards, executive reporting, and self-service tools Ensure strong data integrity, security, and access controls across all HR systems Partner with HR, IT, Finance, and business leaders to deliver cross functional outcomes Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service performance What will you bring? You will bring strong experience in HR systems ownership, data analytics, and continuous improvement, along with advanced capability in Power BI, Excel, DAX, and Power Query. You will have a proven track record of partnering with HR, IT, and Finance teams to deliver practical, business focused solutions. You will be comfortable leading system driven projects, managing vendors, and working across complex stakeholder environments. You will have excellent communication skills, a strong customer focus, and a passion for improving employee experience through smarter systems and better data. Tertiary qualifications in HR, IT, or a related discipline will support your success, with HRIS or project management certifications highly regarded. What next?
