About Us Australian Fashion View is an established garment supplier specialising in ladies’ fashion for the Australian retail market. The business has recently celebrated its 20-year anniversary and works closely with major retailers, managing offshore production and long-term supplier relationships. About the Role We are currently looking for an experienced Pattern Maker to join our team. This opportunity has become available following the planned retirement of a long-term employee. Key duties will include: Creating, modifying and grading patterns for ladies’ fashion garments Preparing and maintaining accurate technical specifications and measurement charts Supporting fit sessions with internal teams and customers Attending and contributing to customer fitting sessions as required Liaising with offshore factories, including China-based suppliers Liaising with independent auditing firms to ensure factory compliance, ethical fabric sourcing and that garments are produced in approved factories in accordance with ethical standards Reviewing samples and providing technical feedback through all development stages Supporting quality control processes from development through to production Ensuring patterns and specifications align with retailer requirements
