We’ve got the rocks covered but we’re looking for a few more incredible people to join our team at Cracow as Geological Technicians in the coreyard The Nitty Gritty Reporting to the Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the organisation of the core yard, processing of drill core which will include but not limited to, meter marking, core photography, core cutting, core sampling and stacking trays. You will also coordinate and manage the storage of core by moving pallets in the yard and delivering and retrieving from the mine store, while maintaining a safe and orderly workplace and delivering the highest quality data in line with Industry best practice, and Aeris policies and procedures. Teamwork – operate collaboratively with the broader Aeris teams, notably the Technical Services, Mine Operations, Exploration and Mine Geology teams, to foster a positive work culture, and deliver best practice geological outputs. Risk Management – identify and mitigate risks associated with daily tasks. Stakeholder Engagement - engage with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner. Continuous Improvement - drive continuous improvement initiative to improve the efficiency and productivity of the team. You Are Living local to Cracow or Theodore or within 4 hours drive of Cracow Minesite. Manual drivers license essential (must be current and proficient in the operation of a manual 4wd) Previous work experience outdoors and/or the ability to perform repetitive manual labour tasks is essential Demonstrate proactive safety behaviour Enthusiasm and a strong ability to work well in a team environment is critical!
