Part Time (16hrs per fortnight) or Casual opportunities. Based in Kaniva. Above award rates! Provide in-home and community-based supports to our TAC clients, enabling them to maintain and/or increase their independence, assist clients to achieve their individual goals and promote positive community attitudes in relation to disability, ageing and inclusiveness. KEY SELECTION CRITERIA Essential Effective communication and organisational skills. Commitment to principles of empowerment, inclusion, choice and control when supporting people to maximize their independence and participate in community life. Current First Aid Certificate Level 2. Desirable Qualification (Certificate or above) in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support, Community Services, or equivalent field. Previous experience working in a community or residential aged care or disability setting. Key Responsibilities To provide support services for individuals receiving community-based support, including Traffic Accidents Commission (TAC) clients. Assist clients/participants to achieve their individual goals and to maintain their independence and dignity, as outlined in their Care Plan. Promote positive community attitudes in relation to disability, ageing and inclusiveness.
