We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Foreman to join our team at Danby Lane, a reputable building and construction company based in Brisbane, Queensland. As the Site Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of a 2-year residential project, 12 storeys across 1 tower. You will work closely with the site manager and collaborate with a team of up to 10 site staff to ensure adherence to planning and quality control processes. Your role will involve managing risks, maximising productivity, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You Will Be The Type Of Person Who Has Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and methodologies Excellent problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional planning and organisational abilities Ability to manage conflict in a professional manner Responsibilities Of The Role Collaborate with the site manager in overseeing all aspects of the residential project. Ensure strict adherence to planning and quality control processes. Manage resources effectively to maximise productivity across timeframes. Implement safety protocols and procedures on-site. Monitor construction progress regularly, identifying any issues or delays that may arise. Communicate effectively with stakeholders including contractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, etc. Provide guidance and support to site staff throughout all stages of construction. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations. Identify solutions for any problems or challenges that may occur during construction. Manage conflicts or disputes that arise between team members or external parties.
