Our commitment to training and working with only the best companies has been going strong since 2005. We are currently looking for Heavy Diesel Mechanics / HD Fitter with the below experience. Duties: Servicing, maintenance and repair with various Mobile Plant equipment Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults Attending breakdowns onsite Repair and maintain the hydraulic components of diesel and petrol/gas engines Component change outs Skills and Experience Required: Strong focus on safety and quality Proven field service experience Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Own tooling specific to the trade Experience on Caterpillar, Hitachi and/or Komatsu Mining Equipment Experience in the mining industry (FIFO) Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology / Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Mobile Plant Mechanic) / Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or similar Air Conditioning & Refrigeration license (Desirable).
