The team works across a wide range of environments such as public facilities, schools, hotels, healthcare settings, and resort developments, bringing specialist expertise and a proven track record to every project. About the Role: Our client is looking for an Estimator who holds experience in all facets of the tendering and estimating submissions process. This role involves estimating the costs of projects, preparing detailed proposals, and working closely with their design and construction teams to ensure projects are completed within budget and to the highest standards. The role will be based at their offices in the North Perth region. Key responsibilities will include: Bid & Cost Preparation: Develop detailed and commercially sound tender submissions, including project budgets, estimates and cost forecasts for commercial works. Technical Review & Due Diligence: Interpret and assess drawings, specifications and supporting documentation to confirm scope definition and identify risks or gaps. Market Pricing & Trade Engagement: Issue tender packages to suppliers and subcontractors, obtain and assess quotations, and benchmark pricing to achieve optimal commercial outcomes. Information & Data Control: Manage and update supplier and subcontractor records, along with maintaining an organised product and materials library. About you: 4 years’ experience in an Estimator role within a related discipline Proficient in the use of estimating software applications, previous experience in Cubit or Bluebeam is advantageous Strong commercial understanding of construction costs, risk and contractual requirements High level of attention to detail and accuracy Strong negotiation and communication skills Commercially focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving Well-organised and able to manage multiple deadlines Ability to assist, mentor and support Junior Estimators We encourage applicants with previous experience in related disciplines, including hydraulic services, mechanical services, pump systems, civil or landscape construction to apply.
