We are seeking two experienced Certificate III educators with a proven track record working with children and families facing trauma or disadvantage to join our sessional kindergarten programs. Available Certificate III qualified vacancies: Essendon (2026 Roster): Monday: 8:00am–5:00pm Thursday: 8:00am–4:30pm Wednesday: 2:02pm–4:30pm (every 2nd week for non-contact time) Flemington (2026 Roster): Monday: 8:00am–2:50pm Wednesday: 8:00am–3:42pm Friday: 8:00am–4:30pm *Roster times and days are not flexible Key responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, play-based programs aligned with the NQF and VEYLDF. Apply trauma-informed, inclusive, and culturally sensitive teaching practices. Enhance children’s learning and development outcomes through intentional pedagogy. Support children’s social and emotional development, with a focus on vulnerable communities. Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families. Document children’s learning, contribute to goal-setting, and support continuous improvement. Collaborate effectively within a supportive, professional team. Understand, uphold and embed Child Safe Standards to ensure all children are safe and supported. About You Minimum two years’ experience in an early learning or kindergarten setting (full-time or part-time). A completed certificate III in Children’s Services (or equivalent) recognised by the Department of Education. Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of trauma-informed practice, inclusion, and cultural sensitivity. Strong understanding of Victoria’s Child Safe Standards, NQF, and approved learning frameworks. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Flexible and adaptable to meet roster and program requirements. Current: Working With Children Check, First Aid Level 2, CPR, Anaphylaxis Management, and Emergency Asthma Management.
