About the job Release Manager Knowledge & skills • Good understanding of software delivery methods and processes • Knowledge of the release management function within software delivery • Knowledge of service management principles • Excellent stakeholder management and communications skills • Ability to manage and work across multiple concurrent streams of work • Knowledge of Plutora, Jira and confluence • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS and Azure) Relevant experience • As release manager or project manager with view of the full software delivery lifecycle • Worked within both Agile /Iterative and Waterfall methodologies • Experience with development and utilisation of DevOps methods and tools, specifically in relation with management of configuration items • Experience of working within banking environments and systems will be advantageous • Leading an organisation level process and behaviour change, with direct responsibility of implementing the change through interaction with stakeholders across levels in the organisation
